Open Auditions: A Tale of Two Cities

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”

In March 2017 the Lindley Players will be staging an adaptation of this famous Dickens novel. As with our 2012 production of David Copperfield, the play is adapted by Matthew Francis with music by Mia Soteriou.

We need a strong cast of actors and actresses, many of whom will be playing more than one character. Dickens paints interesting and fascinating characters, whether they have one line or 500, and we need the actors who can bring these to the stage!

There is no small part, and it will be an intense and exciting rehearsal period. Not one to be missed.

We have a full technical team in place, alongside two directors to take on this challenge!

There will be a pre-audition/information evening on Wednesday 16th November at 7:45pm for people to get an idea of the play and our take on it.

Auditions will be Wednesday 23rd November at 7:45pm at the Playhouse.

So, dust of your copies of the book and get reading …or contact directors Peter Hunt or Lucie Nash for copies of the script.
