SOLSTICE READTHROUGH 5/12/2022 at 7.30pm in the Playhouse bar
We are holding a read through of Solstice in advance of the production which will take place from 11th to 14th October 2023. Why a year in advance? Because this play will have its premiere at The Playhouse next year by The Lindley Players, and as an unknown work we want to give the play maximum exposure before the usual production timings.
All are welcome to find out more about this play which is packed with contemporary themes. The play has been written by Lindley Member, Nigel Medhurst. He was inspired to start writing it after taking a playwriting course at the National Theatre in London a few years ago. It draws on some of the experiences of a close relative and the people he has come across over the years.
